About Groke

We’re an award winning, independent, owner-led speciality coffee shop and brunch restaurant in Kelham Island, Sheffield, founded by us, Abby and Tom. Along with our head chef Joe and our band of incredible chefs, baristas, servers and pot-washers, we’re all about doing things right: serving exceptional food, great coffee, supporting our team, and staying connected to our local community.

We serve ethically sourced coffee from our partners Extract Coffee Roasters and an ever changing roster of small, independent and ethical specality roasters from all around the country. Our kitchen focussed on locally sourced antipodean style brunch with a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten free options on every dish and a wide selection of gluten-free cakes make fresh in house.

Also in house you will find our huge selection of retail coffees from the UKs best independent roasters. We build relationships with roasters all over the country that we know have the best possible sourcing practices and have community at their heart as well as roasting top grade speciality coffee.

We collaborate with ethical suppliers and small producers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability wherever we can. Always on the lookout for local legends doing good things.
